8 years ago today I decided to open Limelight Marketing, many things have changed since then including both in regards to specialized services shifting from event/music management, promotions & marketing to website, web design, social media and eMarketing. There have been also many changes for me personally, including a 4 year hiatus; 2 years traveling over seas and the 2 years when I was Business Development Manager at Design Experts. Purchasing a home in Moama and the subsequent move to and then from Echuca/Moama.

Now back in Melbourne and 8 months into 'Limelight 2.0' and things are moving along in ways I could never have imagined, some are awesome...some are very mentally taxing!

Thanks to all my Friends/Family, colleagues, employers, clients and vendors for making it possible. We're looking forward to the next 8 years! :)

Limelight Vehicle Signage (Toyota Kluger)

Over the past few week we have had our company vehicle sign written and modified to maximise on the exposure vehicles get whilst driving around day to day…as well as making an piece of art to be appreciated by auto enthusiast, designers and everything in between.

    •    2010 Toyota Kluger AWD KX-R (Highlander in the US)
    •    20'" Lenso wheels with Hankook 265/55/R20 tires
    •    Lowered 3" on Pedders Suspension
    •    2.5" straight through sports exhaust by Sound Exhausts in Shepparton
    •    K&N Air Filter (sport induction system)
    •    Custom Mesh Grille imported from the US and then powder coated black
    •    A-Team inspired graphics, carbon & matte black accents.

We recently struck up an arrangement with a local business group to work together to provide a local ones stop shop for all your marketing, design, photography, copyrighting and web design needs in the Echuca/Moama area.

Changes to Facebook

Most of you would know by now that Facebook has gone through some major changes in the past few months introducing 'Time Line" to personally profiles and the to business pages. These changes have left a lot of previously designed landing pages ineffective and in some cases useless. The word on the street is that the new year has been a bit quiet for everyone and although for us things have started moving along again. Today Limelight Marketing launched 3 new landing pages target and funneling traffic from search engines back to the main site (www.stealthelimelight.com).

The first of the three sites is 'Melbourne Web Design' (www.melbourne-web-design.net) is design to rank high in Google for all things design orientated, web, print and digital artwork. Upon visiting this site you will see a strong focus around these words and topics.

The second of these site is 'Melbourne Website' (www.melbourne-website.com) is focused around ranking high for topics surrounding websites; Content management systems, shopping carts, reports and analytics.

The third of these site is a little broader, 'eMarketing Melbourne'. With the site (www.emarketing-melbourne.com) online marketing as a whole is the focus. Email marketing, social media marketing, search engine marketing, search engine optimisation Google adwords and pay per click all warrant a mention and link back to information on the 'Steal the Limelight' website.

Over the next few months we will be monitoring these site, where they gain traffic from and where they drive traffic to. In the mean time we can tune them with the use of such tool as Keyword clouds, and SEO simulators to replicate and tweak the way that spiders and robots 'see' them
